Description
Surgical knee grips
- Function: A system used during surgery to securely hold the lower extremity in a flexed position, allowing surgeons to operate without needing an assistant to manually hold the leg.
- Components: These systems often consist of several parts, such as a thigh support, foot support, and a matrix plate with a boot, all designed to be sterilized for use in the operating room.
- Benefits: Improves surgical positioning, saves time and money, and accommodates a full range of body types.
- Function: These are designed for activities like horseback riding or general sports to provide stability and protection.
- For riding breeches: A rubberized or silicone grip on the inside of the breeches’ legs provides extra friction, preventing the rider from slipping in the saddle.
- For protective knee pads: These are worn on the outside of the knee to protect it from impact injury from falling or hitting an obstacle, especially during activities like construction work or sports.
- For knee braces/sleeves: These provide compression, support, and pain relief, and can be worn during a variety of activities to help with stability, balance, and injury prevention.
